These geometric shadows tell the story more clearly than I can. The spring sun has arrived in Keene, and Main Street is bustling with people strolling, sitting, and otherwise soaking up the light and warmth we’ve craved all winter. Sunny days are here again, and it’s all but impossible to stay inside.

I’m in sunny New England for the week, and ain’t sitting outside in shorts! I’m just to acclimated to thinking 45 degrees is dangerous to my health. Too long in the subtropics.
Nice image.

I wake up at four in the morning every day to drag those chairs out of the coffee shop and set them up. It’s nice to see them in a new light, with a beauty of their own. Thank you for the photo’s.

I really like how you embrace what you call “plainness”, (even though I don’t see it that way). I travel quite a bit now and live a more “exciting” life compared to the more monotonous one when I was much younger…yet I still sometimes yearn for the simplicity and familiarity of those days and I think it allows me to appreciate and enjoy things like the first sunny day of spring. It’s been a damn long winter where I live right now and this picture of the sun shining down on the pavement, and a relaxing place to sit and enjoy it all, is very warming.
