There are many excellent examples of natural camouflage–creatures that are perfectly adapted to blend in with their environment–but this is not one of them.

Hmmmm…maybe it’s supposed to look like a white blossom or petal?

I always think of cardinals as the ultimate *not camouflaged” creature – whether against green (color opposites) in summer or against white in winter. But then if they have a natural enemy it’s color blind.
