I love this shot, though, despite the drizzle! Something about the softness of the background and the sharpness of the scrub.

I actually shot this yesterday, when it wasn’t raining, but I’m glad you enjoyed it! This is a stretch of weedy sidewalk framing a yard with straw-like grass that Reggie and I pass nearly every day, and these scrubby weeds grab my attention every time. They’re difficult to focus on, but yesterday I shot this photo anyway because I liked the juxtaposition of earth-tones and textures.
