I’m all for slowing down. Fast pace living is too much for me to handle. Walking instead of running/driving etc….sooo much better. “Stop and smell the roses” before you know it, it’ll be too late! great picture!
I don’t know who exactly is responsible for enforcing this law…I’d like to think it’s a communal/vigilante kind of thing, with locals issuing citizen’s arrests to folks who zip through too fast…
Of course, locals call covered bridges “kissing bridges” for a reason, so if you proceed *too* slowly, you can get into other sorts of trouble! 🙂

They put that sign up because old people were getting hit on that bridge all the time.
