Yesterday, it was the shoe-fruits of London. Today, it’s the coat hangers of Keene. What do you think will start growing on trees tomorrow?

Yes, this was part of a one-day installation of final projects created by art students. Being college students, these “starving artists” always use ordinary (and thus inexpensive) materials for their outdoor installations. This particular work had plastic clothes hangers in a tree and a circle made from plastic forks and drinking straws on the ground. In the past, installations have utilized things like tin foil and Styrofoam cups.

I don’t know, but I wish I could see hangers and NOT think of Faye Dunaway…

I don’t want to disrupt someone’s art project…but I could sure use a few of those hangers!
