Kudos to the Davis Museum curator who chose to place Julianne Schwartz’ Camera Less Video (Horizontal), which consists of optical lenses framed in stainless steel and plexiglass, in front of a window overlooking the lushly green campus of Wellesley College.
Art is a portal into another world, and in this case, a sculpture designed to be viewed through works well as a literal window to the world outside.
